Siemens Gamesa built six 81-meter recyclable wind turbine blades in Aalborg in 2021. They looked like ordinary blades, but the material inside was different. Their resin could later be separated from the blade, making it possible to recover materials like fiberglass and wood instead of treating the entire blade as waste.
