SC asks authorities to set up to 2 special courts to deal with Manipur violence cases probed by CBI, NIA

The Supreme Court on Monday asked the Manipur and Assam governments to consider setting up two exclusive special courts to hear CBI and NIA cases arising from the 2023 ethnic violence. The court also directed authorities to compile case details and reports, enabling victims, families and legal counsel to access relevant records.
