Rupert Grint returns as Ron Weasley 16 years after the final Harry Potter film

Rupert Grint will portray Ron Weasley in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway. He is scheduled to join the production for a limited engagement starting February 2027. This marks Grint's return to the iconic character after many years. The play is set nineteen years after the original Harry Potter book series concluded. Grint will play an older, fatherly version of the beloved wizarding character.
