Yadav had borrowed Rs 5 crore in 2010 to finance a film that later failed at the box office, which led to mounting debt. Several personalities from the film fraternity have since offered assistance. Actor Sonu Sood signed him for a new film and provided an advance, stressing that it was about dignity, not charity.
