Pakistan in the dark again: 4,000 MW shortfall and fuel failures unleash crippling blackouts

Pakistans electricity crisis has worsened as the nationwide power shortfall exceeds 4,000 MW, triggering longer outages across several regions. Lahore and Punjab are facing two to three hours of load-shedding, while LESCOs deficit has crossed 1,200 MW. Falling power generation, network tripping and an undelivered RLNG vessel are adding pressure, raising concerns over Pakistans electricity supply and infrastructure.
