No booth rationalisation in West Bengal assembly polls: ECI

The Bengal assembly polls will not see any booth rationalisation. The total number of polling stations will be 80,738. Earlier, the Election Commission of India had directed poll officials to rationalise stations with over 1,200 voters. This move aimed to enhance voter accessibility. Polling stations will be set up in high-rise buildings across Bengal.
