Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio meets Home Minister Amit Shah, seeks intervention on state's developmental aspirations

Nagaland Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. They discussed state development priorities and the welfare of the people. The Nagaland Assembly also urged the Centre to withdraw the Protected Area Permit regime. This permit restricts foreign national entry into designated areas of the state. Withdrawal is sought for tourism and economic engagement opportunities.
