Mallikarjun Kharge raises workplace caste discrimination in Rajya Sabha

During Zero Hour in the Rajya Sabha, Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge raised concerns over caste-based discrimination at workplaces, citing recent incidents from Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Chandigarh. He said such practices continue despite constitutional guarantees of equality and highlighted a case where a Dalit woman cooks food at an Anganwadi centre in Odisha was refused by some families.
