India plans AI 'data city' on staggering scale

India is planning a large data city in Visakhapatnam as it seeks to narrow the artificial intelligence gap with the United States and China, Andhra Pradesh IT minister Nara Lokesh said. The project aims to build a large digital ecosystem to support AI growth and attract global investment.
