A salmon farm in Chile now uses floating solar panels and batteries. This system provides about fifty-seven percent of the farms annual electricity needs. It is expected to save approximately thirty-six thousand seven hundred fifty gallons of diesel fuel yearly. This initiative also significantly reduces carbon emissions and fuel delivery boat trips. The change creates a quieter environment for both workers and the salmon.
