Homemakers work can't be called idle, grants maintenance to estranged wife: HC

The Delhi High Court ruled that a homemaker's labor is not idle and must be recognised when determining maintenance. The court awarded 50,000 in interim maintenance, stating that the capacity to earn does not negate the need for support, especially for women who sacrifice careers for family.
