Gunman fires inside Thai government office as country reels from school shooting

A former lawmaker was arrested after allegedly firing shots at a local government office near Thailands capital on Monday, wounding two people, police said. The incident came days after a 14-year-olds deadly school shooting in the same province killed nine people and injured more than 20, renewing calls for tighter gun controls.
