Gold and silver prices surged on the MCX, with silver gaining over 7% in three days and gold rising more than 4%, as investors awaited US inflation data and assessed the outlook for Federal Reserve policy. Geopolitical tensions and uncertainty over the Strait of Hormuz also supported safe-haven demand.
