New research indicates flight attendants and pilots face elevated cancer death risks. These aircrews experience higher odds of dying from radiation-linked cancers. The study analyzed over twelve million death certificates for occupational cancer links. Flight attendants showed a fifty percent higher risk, and pilots thirty-six percent. This evidence supports occupational radiation exposure as a significant factor.
