Duct tape, zip ties and an emergency landing: Chaos aboard US-bound flight after passenger's mid-air assault

An American Airlines flight diverted to Baltimore after a passenger became violent. Fellow travelers and crew members physically restrained the disruptive passenger using tape and zip ties. The passenger allegedly shouted and lunged at another traveler, initiating the confrontation. After the passenger directed slurs at a flight attendant, the crew requested a diversion.
