Datia election result 2026: In BJP's Ashutosh Tiwari vs Congress' Ghanshyam Singh contest, who is winning?

Vote counting for the Datia Assembly by-election in Madhya Pradesh commenced on Monday. This bypoll became necessary after former MLA Rajendra Bharti faced disqualification. The main contest is expected between BJP candidate Ashutosh Tiwari and Congress nominee Ghanshyam Singh. A total of twenty-one candidates are participating in this significant electoral test. The BJP had previously denied a ticket to former state home minister Narottam Mishra.
