Cornell students stage sit-in to protest university's handling of alleged 2024 gang rape

Cornell University students held a sit-in at a dining hall to protest sexual violence and school response. They demanded changes to university disciplinary procedures for sexual assault complaints against students. The protest followed allegations of a gang rape in a fraternity house in 2024 and the slow response from the university. Police later investigated but did not file criminal charges.
