4 taken to hospital after Boston-bound Delta flight makes abrupt U-turn over Atlantic Ocean and lands in Portugal

A Delta Air Lines flight carrying nearly 300 passengers made an emergency landing in Northern Portugal's Porto. The flight, originating from Barcelona, detected smoke in the cabin midway over the Atlantic. Fourteen individuals received treatment for smoke inhalation, and four were taken to hospitals. The aircraft safely landed with emergency services in place at Francisco de S Carneiro Airport.
