2 die due to contaminated drinking water in Nainital, 6 Uttarakhand engineers suspended due to negligence

Six engineers have been suspended after an inquiry into the supply of contaminated drinking water in Jyolikot, Nainital, where cases of jaundice and other waterborne diseases were reported and two deaths occurred. The action followed directions from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
