Mumbai auto, taxi fares to rise from September 1 as MMRTA approves fare hike

Mumbai Metropolitan Region commuters will pay more for autorickshaw and taxi rides from September 1 after the MMRTA approved a fare hike. The minimum auto fare will rise to Rs 27 from Rs 26, while black-and-yellow taxi fares will increase to Rs 33 from Rs 31
