Insidious: Out of the Further vs Khalifa day 1 box office numbers are out; here's how both films performed

Insidious: Out of the Further opened in Indian cinemas on Friday, August 21, adding another title to an already busy theatrical slate. The American horror film arrived as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Batwara 1947 and Awarapan 2 continue their runs at the box office. Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumarans Khalifa entered its second day after releasing on August 20. The Vysakh-directed action thriller got off to a stronger start on its opening day, but its Friday collections saw a decline.
