Holi School Holiday 2026: Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Bihar declare school closures for Holi 2026

Several states across India have announced school holidays for Holi, with closures varying according to regional observances and calendar calculations. Uttar Pradesh government schools will remain shut from March 2 to March 4, creating a four-day break due to March 1 being a Sunday. Delhi, Haryana and Punjab will close schools on March 4, while Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Assam have also declared holidays around the festival period.
