CGHS eligibility rules changed: Central govt employees outside covered areas can now opt for CGHS

The government has removed the geographical restriction for CGHS eligibility for serving Central government employees, allowing eligible employees outside covered areas to make a one-time switch to CGHS, subject to prescribed conditions and contribution.
