Your sweet tooth craving may get a little more expensive

Rising sugar prices are pushing packaged food companies towards another round of price hikes or smaller pack sizes. Bikaji Foods is rolling out a 2% price increase across its sweets portfolio, while analysts at Anand Rathi expect 2-5% hikes or shrinkflation in packaged foods as sugar, tea and coffee prices rise.
