US to give yarn, cotton benefits to India, as with Bangladesh: Piyush Goyal

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said India will receive concessional duty access for garments made using American yarn and cotton under the proposed interim trade agreement with the US, similar to benefits given to Bangladesh. Indian companies importing US raw materials to manufacture garments for re-export to America will get duty-free access, with no quota on cotton imports.
