Siemens Energy India advances cleaner high-voltage grid infrastructure with its Blue portfolio

Siemens Energy India has commissioned its first 145 kV sulfur hexafluoride-free circuit breaker in Goa, introducing its Blue high-voltage technology to India. The equipment uses clean air insulation and vacuum switching, eliminating SF and other fluorinated greenhouse gases while supporting reliable transmission infrastructure and the power sectors decarbonisation efforts.
