SC rejects IEX plea against CERC market coupling order

The Supreme Court dismissed the Indian Energy Exchange's appeal against the CERC's market coupling order. Justices refused to interfere with the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity's previous ruling on the matter. The court kept legal questions open for future consideration as norms are still in draft. CERC plans to introduce power market norms, including market coupling, within six weeks.
