Rs 42,000 salary, layoffs, scam and lost offers: How a Bengaluru techie reached Rs 75 lakh package

A social media user named Pooja shared how her cousins salary rose from Rs 42,000 a month to Rs 2.30 lakh, with a Rs 75 lakh package, in 15 months. After graduating from a Tier-3 college, he moved to Bengaluru, faced financial struggles, layoffs, a recruiter scam, lost offers and a toxic startup. Despite repeated setbacks, he continued applying, learning and starting again. Pooja said consistency was the biggest lesson.
