Gurgaon-based CEO Jasveer Singh believes buying a first home is about more than financial returns. Sharing his views on X, he said home ownership can provide security, control, permanence, pride and a sense of belonging, especially for people who move from smaller towns to cities. He argued that these emotional benefits cannot be measured through SIP returns, rental yields or rent-versus-buy calculators, calling a home an anchor during uncertain times.
