Renewable energy projects can now store and sell curtailed power using co-located battery systems

The renewable energy landscape is evolving as the power ministry allows the storage of curtailed electricity from renewable projects. This stored energy can be harnessed to charge on-site battery systems, enabling developers to independently sell this surplus power via power exchanges. This initiative not only enhances the effective use of renewable energy generation but also opens doors for monetizing energy that would otherwise go to waste.
