Power ministry issues compensation guidelines for transmission line right of way

New guidelines issued by the power ministry will help establish compensation for landowners affected by interstate transmission lines. States that have not set their own rates must now follow these central guidelines. The guidelines emphasize the importance of timely completion of transmission line construction and effective resolution of right of way issues. Compensation will be based on market values rather than outdated circle rates as previously practiced.
