PoJK poll violence: Neelum Valley resident killed in security firing as 2nd phase ends amid unrest

A resident was killed when security forces allegedly opened fire on protesters in Athmuqam, during the second phase of legislative polls marked by violence and low voter turnout. Allegations of electoral fraud and protests disrupted the voting process across key urban areas, including Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Furthermore, India continues to declare the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh as essential parts of its sovereign territory.
