Motherson Q1 profit jumps 102%, revenue hits record

Samvardhana Motherson International posted a 101.64% profit rise in the first quarter. Revenue from operations increased by 16.65% to Rs 35,243.77 crore last quarter. EBITDA grew 30.44% year-on-year, and the company operationalized three new plants. It also announced the acquisition of Shenzhen Autocruis to strengthen technological capabilities. The company's balance sheet remains strong with leverage at its lowest-ever level.
