Mass burials in Nepal as death toll from flash floods exceeds 1,000

Rescue teams continued searching debris-strewn areas along the Nepal-China border for thousands missing after catastrophic Himalayan floods killed more than 1,000 people. Nepal reported 1,003 deaths and 3,916 missing, while China recorded 16 deaths and 546 missing.
