Man spots two toddlers wandering onto busy Florida highway, races to save them as car approaches; heroic rescue caught on camera

In January 2026, John Brittingham spotted two toddlers wandering in the middle of busy A1A in Cocoa Beach, Florida, and quickly stopped his car to help. As traffic continued moving around them, he ran into the road, picked up the children and carried them to safety, with the dramatic rescue captured on camera. The children had apparently wandered out through an open gate at a nearby rental home without their family realising they were missing.
