Indias retail boom is getting bigger: 186.2 million sq ft organised retail stock, bigger malls, office-led shopping & major shift in what consumers want

Indias organised retail real estate market is evolving, with larger malls, experience-led categories and office-linked retail driving growth across major cities. Bengaluru leads the top 12 markets with 29.2 million sq ft of organised retail stock, followed by Gurugram, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Shopping mall supply is also set to expand, with 40.4 million sq ft in the pipeline through 2030.
