India's first Bullet Train project gains pace; first test coach ready: Ashwini Vaishnaw

India's first Bullet Train project is progressing rapidly with key milestones expected soon. The Surat to Bilimora section is targeted for commissioning next year. Civil construction on the Vapi-Surat section will be completed by December. The first test coach for the Bullet Train has already been manufactured. High-speed rail services are anticipated to commence in August 2027.
