Green facades play a significant role in regulating outdoor thermal conditions, although their effectiveness can significantly differ. A comprehensive 2025 study on five green walls across Czech cities revealed that the most substantial reduction in radiant heat was observed in the Holeovice district of Prague. Nevertheless, the findings highlighted that the cooling benefits of green walls are relatively limited in temperate climates, influenced by wall type and local environmental factors.
