In 1919, a Harvard graduate secretly became a spy in Germany. He warned the world about Hitler and Holocaust, 20 years before World War II

Winthrop Pickard Bell, a Harvard-trained philosopher and secret British intelligence agent, warned about the growing Nazi threat years before World War II. After being imprisoned in Germany during World War I, Bell returned as a spy and reported on rising antisemitism. In 1939, he also warned that Hitlers plans could lead to racial extermination, years before the Holocaust became widely known.
