HR offered Rs 7.5 LPA because his last CTC was Rs 5 lakh. He rejected it and later got Rs 14 LPA offer. Delhi entrepreneur has a message for recruiters

Delhi-based entrepreneur Kanika Jain shared a job candidates experience of rejecting a Rs 7.5 LPA offer because it was based on his previous Rs 5 lakh CTC. Despite having four years of experience, HR called the offer a 50% hike and market standard. The candidate later received a Rs 14 LPA offer from another company. Jain urged recruiters not to undervalue candidates simply because their previous salary was lower.
