Govt tweaks Build Operate Transfer agreement to share risks and rewards with contractors'

New Delhi: The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced modifications to the Build Operate Transfer road project agreement. This change aims for equitable risk and reward sharing between the government and concessionaires. Over 2 lakh crore in BOT road projects are planned.
