Global Fintech Fest 2026: PFRDA plans inflation-linked bonds to offer inflation-protected pension returns

India's pension regulator is developing innovative bond issuances for inflation-protected returns. Guidelines for these new products are expected within days, with rollout to follow soon. The PFRDA is also working on a guaranteed-return scheme for non-government employees. This initiative aims to provide more predictable retirement income for subscribers.
