Geopolitical heat lifts inflation fears but RBI's repo rate hike unlikely

RBI MPC member Saugata Bhattacharya says a rate hike is negligible despite inflation risks from crude, metals and weather. He sees no economic overheating, notes improving credit growth and steady consumption, and expects inflation to near 4%. He adds new GDP and CPI series will better reflect Indias economy.
