A candidate earning Rs 14 LPA and seeking Rs 18 LPA was reportedly rejected despite the recruiter agreeing to her salary expectations. Delhi entrepreneur Kanika Jain said the issue was her 90-day notice period, highlighting how lengthy notice periods can hurt both job seekers and companies. Jain said some employees are now seeking multiple offers and suggested shorter notice periods based on tenure. She proposed 15-30 days for junior employees and up to 60 days for senior roles.
