At 18, Mumbai-based founder Abhishek Agarwal says he went seven days without money for food and survived on bread and water. Years later, he believes the experience taught him a lasting lesson: once you know you can survive your lowest point, failure, rejection and financial setbacks become less frightening. His LinkedIn post argues that being broke is not noble or necessary for success, but surviving a difficult period can give people a confidence that success alone cannot.
