Dr Reddy's says Wegovy copycat to be priced competitively, with 50-60% discounts feasible

Indian drugmaker Dr Reddy's Laboratories is set to launch a generic version of the popular weight-loss drug Wegovy. The company aims to offer it at a price up to 60% lower than the original. This move comes as the patent for semaglutide, the active ingredient, is set to expire.
