DMRC's outstanding JICA loan stands at Rs 35,828 crore: Govt

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation owes JICA thirty-five thousand eight hundred twenty-eight crore rupees. The corporation has already repaid nearly nine thousand nine hundred forty-eight crore rupees. The Centre and Delhi government provided significant cumulative financial support over five years. Fare fixation considers commuter affordability and non-fare box revenue measures are in place. Loan repayment structures are incorporated within DMRC metro project sanction orders.
