Consumers deserve nutritional information on food packs; industry backs FSSAI move: Orkla India

Orkla India MD and CEO Sanjay Sharma backed FSSAIs proposed front-of-pack labelling (FOPL) norms, saying consumers have the right to clear nutritional information. He said the industry supports the regulators objective of helping consumers make informed choices, with the main debate being over the format and implementation of the labels.
