Who knew that fish heads and bones (and guts) have more use than being mere cat food? A group of researchers in Canada has found a technique that can extract eco-friendly, biodegradable plastic. Conventional manufacturing depends on petroleum-derived crude oil and hazardous phosgene while also producing isocyanates that may cause irritation to the skin and respiratory tract.
