Cab driver was laid off from tech, now earns Rs 1.2 lakh a month. He said, 'Rs 40,000 job was just a side income'

Pratham, a social media user, shared a conversation with a cab driver who had recently been laid off from a tech company. The driver appeared to earn Rs 40,000 a month from driving, but revealed he owned an ancestral property and a flat that together generated Rs 80,000 in rent. With total monthly income of Rs 1.2 lakh, his Rs 40,000 driving job was actually just a side income.
